What is the ISIT Academy?: The ISIT Academy is an intensive vocational program designed for the individual who is serious about a career in Investigations, Security or Intelligence. This type of career choice can range from Licensed Private Investigator to Investigative Journalist.
What type of training is offered by ISIT Academy?: We offer three primary on-going training programs:

•Full-time
•Part-time
•Transitional training

We also offer 1-2 day special offer courses as well as several customized programs for individuals and organizations.
What education and background requirements are needed to enter ISIT Academy?: To qualify for consideration at ISIT Academy for our on-going training courses, you must be a high school graduate (or equivalent), with no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions.

The preferred educational background for our on-going training courses is a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Police Science, Law, Criminal Justice or Journalism. Programs can require a great deal of self study, reading and report writing.
Why should I travel and attend an academy in Southern California when there is similar private investigator training online or in my own area?: ISIT Academy is not like any other Private Investigator Academy. Compare our training, instructors and certifications to any other trade school or four-year college. We also offer continuing education and job placement for our graduates.
